Swiftshore offers guests homely, comfortable, friendly and welcoming holiday accommodation within the peaceful village of Gorran Haven, on the south coast of Cornwall, only 350 yards away from the SW Coastpath and some spectacular walks.

We started to run the bed and breakfast in 2012 and have thoroughly enjoyed meeting some incredible people and have felt privileged to share the delights of this beautiful area with them. As our only guests you are assured a personal service.

The bed & breakfast accommodation is within our family home only 350 yards from the beach. There is one comfortable double bedroom, with a single bedroom off through which you go to the ensuite shower room with toilet and wash basin in an annexe on the ground floor with its own private access so is ideal for a couple, twin or for a family of 3. We charge on a per person basis (phone for details). The main bedroom has a large colour digital television, coffee table and chairs, tea and coffee making facilities, small fridge with fresh milk, fruit juice and filter water and there is a hair dryer. Free WiFi is available. Towels and bed linen are provided and the rooms cleaned daily. A breakfast menu is available with a wide choice including fresh fruit salad, homemade preserves, a selection of cooked breakfasts (including full English) using local produce and our own eggs from the chickens in the garden wherever possible.The garden overlooks the valley and guests are welcome to enjoy its peace and tranquility, watch the chickens and abundant birdlife. We have an old chocolate brown labrador who wants to be everyone’s friend and two cats. There is road parking outside the gates at the top of the steep drive. Well behaved pets are welcome to stay but please contact us first.

From the car to the house is a steep driveway. There are steps down to the back door and further steps to the rear of the property and the entrance to the B&B. The property, therefore, unfortunately is not suitable for those using wheelchairs or with difficulty in managing steps or steep slopes.
